Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Video, Pictures & Rumours

November 2, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

It’s been a busy day for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 leaks. We have been treated to a set of official photos and a teaser video, so we are going to combines this into one post and let you know what we have found out. At the moment the specifications are just rumours and we need to find out official what the final specs will be.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White Mobile Phone

The Xperia X10 will launch in colours with a Xperia X10 Black and Xperia X10 White and will definitely take the price for the best looking Android phone to date. The X10 should help get Sony Ericsson back on the smartphone leaderbroard and help shake the market up. The display dominates the front of the phone with very little in the way of a physical border surrounding it which could substantiate claims of a 4.0 or 4.1 inch display. The pictures on show also clearly sport the Rachael UI and the phone looks to be multimedia, something that has been lacking in other Android phones.

From the video we can figure out that this new Android offering will feature a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. Rumoured specs hint at a 4.1 inch touchscreen display, 1GHz snapdragon processor and an 8.1 Megapixel camera which, if they’re confirmed tomorrow, will put the Xperia X10 on top of the pile as the most powerful Android phone yet.

Xperia X10 Summary

So far, this is what we know about this phone -- the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the first phone from Sony Ericsson to use the Android operating system. The Android Xperia X10 features support for apps from the Android market, full compatibility with Google service such as GMail and Google Maps and features the Xperia panel user interface. The Xperia X10 features a vivid 4.1 touchscreen display providing users with a responsive way to navigate the phone. The Android X10 also features an impressive music player supporting a host of file formats including AAC and MP3 and a powerful flash, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, built in GPS (that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation) and expandable memory.
