Palm Pre Plus Review

January 21, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

The Palm Pre was a popular phone choice for many business people and went down well in the US. It was nice to hold, had an impressive user interface, powerful 600MHz processor and a stylish design. Palm made a few improvements to their novel device with its successor, the Palm Pre Plus. Memory is increased to 16GB, it has an improved slider action and a more user friendly QWERTY keyboard for users with big fingers found the keyboard on the Palm Pre difficult for writing emails and texts. The ergonomic curved design fits perfectly in the palm of your hand – and the 3.1 inch multi-touch screen displays bright and clear web sites, pictures and videos.

The intuitive Palm web OS allows users to run multiple apps simultaneously as well as access web-based information such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Office Outlook. The impressive interface makes it easy to find your favourite web pages or applications. Twitter, Facebook and push email are fully integrated.

Navigating around the device is a breeze with the multi-touch screen and notifications such as messages and event reminders appear at the bottom of the screen which means you do not have to close any applications that are already in use. It really is a joy to use. It’s extremely easy and intuitive, possibly even better than the iPhone interface. It has a superb spec with 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and stereo Bluetooth on the connectivity front as well as a 3 megapixel camera with flash, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, infrared, USB port and accelerometer.
