Could Nokia’s Vision Of The Future Be Their Competitors Past?

I found a very interesting article by Stan Schroeder, on Mashable. The article covered Nokia’s The Way We Live Next 3.0 event, which is supposed to showcase the company’s plans for tech-imbued living in 2015, and featured the video below, courtesy of Slashgear.

Stan Schroeder pointed out that many of the virtual keyboards, devices and applications are already available on the iPhone, Android (Android), Symbian, and many other mobile devices of today….basically Nokia are not creating a future they are just playing around in the past. These are, after all meant to be visions -- maybe Nokia should watch the Back To The Future Films for some inspiration. When car companies build prototypes they at least get a little creative, even if some of the cars can look at bit rubbish.
