Shouldn’t be too long now until the Blackberry Storm2 9550 is released in the UK -- we have heard it should be around the 26th of October, so just in time for Christmas if you are generous with your gift or you know someone who is.

The Blackberry Storm2 refines the Storm package with the addition of Wi-Fi (something the original Storm was slagged off for not having), an improved touchscreen (originl problems have been fixed) with the innovative SurePress technology given a few tweaks. Elsewhere the BlackBerry Storm2 is well equipped to take on the iPhone’s and Palm Pre’s of the world with a 3.15 Megapixel camera, HSDPA connectivity for high speed web access, downloadable apps from BlackBerry App World, the ability to sync with iTunes and Windows Media Player to transfer music and 2GB of internal memory (plus a memory card slot).
