The latest addition to BlackBerry’s Pearl family has been leaked in the form of the Pearl 3G 9100. The pearl like trackball has been replaced by a touch sensitive optical trackpad; a welcome change as the original trackball was criticised and has a number of faults. The pocket sized device features a half-QWERTY keyboard and boasts a black finish, similar to the sleek and stylish BlackBerry Bold 2.

BlackBerry are known for their business friendly features and the Pearl 9100 is kept up to the same standard with 3G, Wi-Fi and the latest version of the BlackBerry OS, v5.0.
